Go Mobile

BusinessMan is available for the FileMaker Go application on the iPhone and iPad. This enables remote access to any of your customer data. Manage inventory tracking while out of the office - Allow field workers to access specific information, live from your database.

FileMaker Go has been specifically developed for the Apple devices to ensure full compatibility.

Summary

If you do not have an iPhone or iPad, BusinessMan data can be accessed via the BusinessMan Web Module. Note: FileMaker Server or FileMaker Pro is required to access your BusinessMan solution from FileMaker Go. BusinessMan Mobile is an add-on to BusinessMan Enterprise.

Download BusinessMan Mobile for FileMaker Go.

Once BusinessMan Mobile has been downloaded, there are a couple of methods to open the BusinessMan file the iPhone:

Email yourself the file (clicking on the file will open BusinessMan Mobile in FileMaker Go)

Connect your iPhone to itunes:
- Select the iPhone device
- Click Apps (Top menu)
- Scroll down to FileSharing
- Select FileMaker Go
- Click 'Add...' to add a file.
- Select BMiPhone from using the file selector
- Sync your iPhone
- On your iPhone:
- Open FileMaker Go
- Select ‘Files On Device’
- Select BMiPhone

Open the BMiPhone from your hosted FileMaker Server or FileMaker Pro
- On your iPhone, open FileMaker Go
- Select ‘Local Network Hosts’
- Find your Computer or Server
- Select BMiPhone (Note, if not available, select File Menu->Sharing->FileMaker Network and turn this setting on.)

Please note: To access BusinessMan using FileMaker Go, FileMaker Go must be purchased separately from the Apple App store (A one off cost of $19.99USD / £11.99GBP for the iPhone and $39.99USD / £23.99GBP for the iPad per device).

View, edit and search your FileMaker Pro records on your iPhone or iPad with FileMaker Go. Check inventory in the warehouse, manage event registration on-site, or update project status while traveling.

BusinessMan is based on a FileMaker Pro database - Just look at the demonstration below. You can open the full application on your iPhone/iPad and use your business management solution on the Go!
