Software Developer Computech IT Services launches BusinessMan Mobile for iPhone utilizing the FileMaker Go App.

Saltash, Cornwall, UK – 27th, October, 2010 – Business Software Developer Computech IT Services Ltd have launched a BusinessMan Mobile Module for their best selling BusinessMan software using the FileMaker Go App.

The BusinessMan Complete Business Management System has been developed in-house utilising the knowledge gained from more than 17 years of developing business solutions. “The BusinessMan Mobile module extends our BusinessMan application to allow users to take their data on the road and enable them to have instant answers when they are out of the office and allows them to have Contacts, Inventory levels, Schedules, and Tasks at their fingertips. ” says Garry Thompson Managing Director of Computech.

BusinessMan Mobile has been developed to allow users to view and search BusinessMan records on their iPhone using the FileMaker Go app. New purpose built layouts have been developed to utilize the iPhone interface to show data or search for existing data quickly and easily on the iPhone Screen. New iPhone screens have been developed for Prospects and customer contact information, Inventory stock product information, Jobs history, Tasks, ToDo’s and daily, weekly or monthly schedules allowing field personnel to have their weekly schedules of appointments and Tasks on their iPhone.

BusinessMan Mobile allows users to access Database information via FileMaker Go in 2 convenient ways. The first is to connect to databases hosted on FileMaker Server or FileMaker Pro via a local wireless network, or over the internet using Wi-Fi or 3G. All additions or changes are instantly updated in the hosted file to allow contact information, stock control, tasks and schedules to be updated instantly. Secondly, BusinesMan Mobile allows users to have a copy of their databases as a local copy on their iPhone which can be downloaded via email (or iTunes) for information and look up. This allows instant access to data even when no signal is available. Such information could consist of manuals, job worksheets, timesheets… the list goes on! The BusinessMan mobile app will also store images from pictures taken from the iPhone which can then be synchronizes with BusinessMan when the field operator comes back into the office or acquires a mobile signal. The BusinessMan software is a comprehensive, modular, CRM system.
