What is the Quotation / Estimate Status?

Quotation / Estimate Status can have many stages and denotes the current status of the Quotation / Estimate:

 

" Open
o This means that the Quotation / Estimate is still in the process if being created and is not ready to send to the prospect / Customer.

 

" Active
o This means that the Estimate has been completed and is in the process of waiting for a response. For example, the Quotation / Estimate has been emailed to the Customer for review, and has not yet replied (to reject or accept).

 

" Accepted
o This means the Customer has accepted the Estimate and you are now able to create a Sales Order from the Quotation / Estimate.

 

" Rejected

o The Quotation / Estimate has been rejected by the prospect / Customer.
o A rejection reason can be entered in the Estimate for reporting purposes.

 

A Quotation / Estimate can be re-opened at any point, except if the quotation has been “Accepted” by the Customer. To Re-open a Quotation / Estimate, click the “Re-Open” button. You must have sufficient privileges to perform this action.
