A job is created from an Order. An Order is raised against the Customer.
To create a new job from an order:
There are a couple of methods to open a Sales Order:
From Customers
- Search for the customer that you would like to find
- Select the customer
- Click on the Orders Tab
- Click the order to open for whch you would like to raise a job
- When the order window has opened, click the Jobs tab
- Click the New Job button.
From Main Menu
- Click on SOP (Sales Order Processing)
- Select the order for whch you would like to raise a job
- When selected, the Order Detail screen will appear
- When the order window has opened, click the Jobs tab
- Click the New Job button.
To Find a Job
- Click on the Jobs module from the Main Menu
- Click Find
- Enter the job number (or any other criteria)
- Hit the Enter Key
- The job will now be displayed (All matched jobs will now be listed if more than one found)
