Discount Groups are groups of stock items that can have a range of discounts applied to them.

Every customer can have different discounts applied for each discount group (this is set in the financial area of the customer).

Where customer "A" may have a 30% discount applied for a particular discount group, customer "B" may only have 20%.

You may create as many discount groups as required and each stock item may be entered into any product group.

These discounts are automatically applied when you select the item from stock when in the quotation or the sales order modules.
