What is a Resource?

A resource can be any entity that requires scheduling. For example, Staff / Vehicles / Inventory.

A resource is placed into a category to keep similar resources together. These collection of resources are called "Resource Categories".

An example of a Resource Category is "Staff". The resources within Staff might be "John Doe", "Harry Smith", etc.

Another Resource Category might be "Vehicles", with a collection of resources such as "Service Van", "Sales Car", "Courtesy Car", etc.

There is no limit to how many Resources or Resource Categories that can be created.

Creating a resource

To create a resource, a Resource Category must first be created (if there is not already a category to place the new resource).

See FAQ: How to create a resource.
