The BusinessMan trial download comes complete with some sample data and is based on the FileMaker Database platform. If you would like to trial BusinessMan with your own business data and then continue with the data after registering the application, please let us know and we will provide you with a ready to go version.
BusinessMan is downloaded as an installer, which will install the complete trial application on your computer. Once the short installation process has completed, you will be able to run BusinessMan in trial mode.
Runtime (v5.0) - Quick Run
BusinessMan is downloaded as a zip file. Once downloaded, drag and drop the zip file to the applications directory (or another easily accessible location) and unzip the BusinessMan zip file. Once extracted, you will be able to run BusinessMan in trial mode.
FileMaker 11 Users (v5.0) - Full Version
If you have FileMaker already, you may download BusinessMan using the link below. This will download BusinessMan in a zip file. Once downloaded, drag and drop the zip file to the applications directory (or another easily accessible location) and unzip the BusinessMan zip file.
Once extracted, you will be able to run BusinessMan in trial mode. You will also be able to host BusinessMan using FileMaker 11 Server (or Server Advanced and also use FileMaker Go).
What is a Runtime version? A run time version will allow you to run BusinessMan on your PC right away. When you make your purchase of BusinessMan, you will receive a fresh copy that you can host (if multi-user) on a server (or another PC) so that it can be accessed by everyone on your network.
NOTE: A runtime will also limit some of the functionality, such as the graphical charting and the creation of PDF files.

If you would like to import your Customer, Supplier and Prospect data from your existing system, instructions are provided on how to do this very easily.
If you do not have FileMaker Pro installed on your computer, there are two downloads available. You can download the “Runtime” version of BusinessMan, which does not require you to pre-install FileMaker Pro for the trial.
Some functionality will not be available in the Runtime version, such as the ability to create PDF documents and the ability to create graphical reports as charts.
If you would like to have full use of all the functionality of BusinessMan for your trial, you will need to download FileMaker Pro 11, from the FileMaker website. Once you have installed FileMaker Pro 11 on your computer, you can download the full version for your computer (Windows/Mac) on this page.
